Though miles apart, I see you in my dreams, 

    A vision soft, yet vibrant in its hue. 

    Your laughter fills my heart, your warmth redeems, 

    A fleeting glimpse of love I thought I knew. 

    Yet when I wake, the world feels harsh and bare, 

    Your presence gone, a shadow in the dawn. 

    Each morning light unveils my heart’s despair, 

    A longing deep for all that now is gone. 

    Do dreams reflect a truth we cannot face? 

    Or are they cruel illusions, fleeting lies? 

    For even as I wake, I feel your grace,
